DSM Directive (part III) – Already past tense? A look into the future

In the final part of our DSM Directive webinar series, we welcomed guest speakers, Jeremy Rollison, Senior Director, EU Government Affairs at Microsoft and Jeremy Wright, The Rt Hon Sir Jeremy Wright KC MP (former DCMS Secretary of State), along with Bird & Bird experts, Rebecca O’Kelly-Gillard and Francine Cunningham.

Our panellists shared their views on whether the DSM is already out dated before it’s even been fully implemented across the EU: considering the effect of the Digital Services Act and Digital Markets Act and, for organisations operating across both the EU and UK, how they will be further impacted by the Online Safety Bill and the UK IPO consultation on AI and IP.
