Bird & Bird & SVAGC - Global Employment Law Challenges: The Top Agenda Items for 2022

In a recent webinar Bird & Bird offered as part of the Silicon Valley Association of General Counsel’s All Hands Meeting, an international panel of experts addressed the latest global employment law challenges. This webinar covered the key messages and top tips that in-house counsel can have to hand if they were to brief their board on upcoming key risks and considerations in 2022 from a people perspective, including:

• Challenges of implementing an international DE&I policy;
• Social Activism and Reputation;
• Employee Data and the Global Workforce;
• Managing the remote and hybrid workforce;
• Protecting your business with increased staff exits
• Contingent and flexible labour structures.

Bird & Bird's International HR Services team was joined by Dan Obuhanych, Senior Counsel, Global Employment Law at ServiceNow and Susan Edwards, Associate General Counsel, Employment at Zoom, who shared a US in-house perspective on addressing these challenges in 2022. The session was chaired by Furat Ashraf (Senior Associate, International HR Services, London).
